Het Blauwe Dak (The Blue Roof)

"Het Blauwe Dak" is designed by Meijers en Molema in 1913. It was designed for Wouter Kruekniet. and is located in Wassenaar.

Joseph Luns was one of the people who used to live in "Het Blauwe Dak".

After this it was used by "de Stichting Parousia" witch is a CAMA consignment center from 1968 until 1975.Something that stayed behind afther the building being used by the CAMA consignment center is a stained glass pattern of A.L. Brown who was a an employee of the school of the consingment center in New Genuia

It was also here that the Indonisian Independence convention was signed in 1949.

In 1991 the dutch writer Hella S. Haasse wrote a book called "berichten van het blauwe huis"(Messages of the blue house). "Het Blauwe Dak" formed her inspiration.

On januari 1 2005 a Business Center opened inside "het Blauwe Dak". Right now this Business Center contains 13 Offices, a meetingroom and a lunchroom with a terras. Begemann & Wellink run the daily managment and also have their own Office Management bureau inside het Blauwe Dak. Besides this there are two hosts to make sure that everything is taken care of that all the guests get a warm welcome
